Hi,
Whenever you want to zip the particular file in linux means right click that file select Creative Archieve, that dialogbox will be displayed. In that two fields are there.One is Archieve another one is Location.
In Archieve field having the file name,nearly one combobox is there.In that we select the option for ".zip".Combobox having lot of extensions like .zip,.ar,.tar.gz,.gz,.jar,.war,.tar,.ear,.bz2,.tar.bz2.
In Location field is used to specify the location i.e, where to store that file.
Example:
filename=a.php
Right click->a.php->select Creative Archive-> select .zip
