When using CodeIgniter, by default index.php appears in URL.
We can remove index.php by redirection using .htaccess
Following is the <u>.htaccess code for removing index.php</u>

Save .htaccess file in Parent folder.
Then
Open config.php located in System/application/config directory
and set $config['index_page'] to blank. |
