Lohri festival wishes

The festival of worshiping fire, Lohri, is being celebrated with great festivity across the country, especially in North India.
Lohri festival is observed every year on January 13. This is the time when Earth Starts moving towards the Sun, making an auspicious period of Uttarayan.

The Lohri festival is celebrated in groups. On this occasion, people gather around bonfire and throw puffed rice, til, popcorn into the flame. People also offer prayers to the fire, seeking prosperity. The festival is very important for the newly wed couples and newly born babies as it makes fertility.
