Copying Text and Web Pages

To copy an entire web page (or a portion of a page) into your message, follow these steps:

1. View the source of the page. Do this by right-clicking and selecting 'View Source', or by selecting 'View' and then 'Source' from the 'View' menu.
2. Highlight and copy the section that you want to reproduce, then paste it into a blank NotePad screen (or other text editor).
3. Do a 'Search and replace' on the text. Replace all < symbols with [.
4. Do another 'Search and replace' on the text. Replace all > symbols with ].
5. In some cases we've found that you'll need to find references to any images and make them start on a new line, all by themselves. Look for the [img... tags, put your cursor at the start of the tag and press [RETURN] or [ENTER].
6. Copy and paste the text into the post window, then Preview the post. Make any required adjustments, then Preview the post again. Repeat until the post appears correctly.
7. When everything looks right, click Post message.
