Multiplication of 12 trick - using vedic maths
Take any number multiplication by 12.
Rules:
Rule 1 : Putting dot on both the sides. Dot value consider as a zero.
Rule 2 : Start from RHS dot, taking 2 digits at a time. Keep on adding, twice the second last digit and the last digit. If you have carry value, carry the next pair.
Rule 3 : Write answer in reverse order.
 Example: 683 X 12
Rule 1 : .683.
Rule 2 : Take dot and 3, (2x3) + 0 =
6
Take next pair, 3 and 8, (2x8 ) + 3 = 19 =
9 (carry 1)
Take next pair, 8 and 6, (2x6) + 8 + 1 (carry) = 21 =
1 (carry 2)
Take next pair, 6 and dot, (2x0) + 6 + 2 =
8
Rule 3 : Write answer in backwards,
 683 X 12 = 8196
