It looks like Twitter will be expanding its staff to more international quarters in the coming year.
As a Twitter (Twitter) spokesperson told us, "Twitter plans to have a small number of people on the ground in Europe in 2011.
We're currently researching locations and potential candidates."
The company hasn't elaborated further on these points, but TNW Europe speculates that the new job roles will primarily focus on sales and business development. This seems to be based on Twitter's remarks - made during a September visit to the UK - that the company was looking to be less U.S.-centric in its monetization efforts.
Twitter revealed earlier this year that more than 60% of its users live outside the U.S.
The site is now available in a variety of languages, including Spanish, French, Italian and German.
