Google to update its Penguin Algorithm Refresh Early Next Week
Google to update its next generation Penguin algorithm next week and says it would be a delight for both webmasters and users.
Google’s Gary Illyes, Webmaster Trends Analyst and Search Quality Engineer, said confirmed at an Expo that, this would not be just a refresh, but it is a large re-write of the algorithm that it took nearly an year for the update to be launched.
He also added that, the refresh may not lauch if there were issues in the testing phase.
Google Penguin updated aimed at decreasing search engine rankings of websites that violate Google’s Webmaster Guidelines, by using now declared black-hat SEO techniques involved in increasing artificially the ranking of a webpage by manipulating the number of links pointing to the page.
