SAFETY

The Škoda Yeti excels at offering high level of safety, but also at the wide – ranging use of modern technology. A host of electronic stability systems such as ABS, EBD, HBA, ASR, TCS, EDL, ESP – involuntarily engage themselves when the need arises to ensure stability. Among many other things, the Yeti is equipped with 6 airbags and corner function for fog lamps.

SPACE MANAGEMENT

The concept of three independent rear seats VarioFlex provides a wide range of options for arranging the internal and luggage space. You can therefore take advantage of a volume from 146 to 1,760 litres. For the first time, a Škoda’s luggage space has the option of three solutions for the floor and the fixing system with horizontal bars and movable hooks.

4×4

Four-wheel drive for the Yeti is provided by an ingenious system using a 4th generation Haldex clutch that enables the car to run economically while maintaining excellent traction. The altered rear multi-link axle with wider wheel track gives the car greater stability when driving on rough terrain and also lends it excellent handling properties on the road.

OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY

The Yeti is the first Škoda car which offers an off-road mode for the 4×4 version. It is an intelligent system that adapts the characteristics of the engine and brake assistant systems to driving on an unhardened surface and makes driving on a slope easier. It represents a number of functions such as the hill descent control, the adaption of the ABS, ASR and EDS electronic systems to the driving conditions and a more sensitive accelerator configuration.
